FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Diane Wigstone Kingdom Enterprises International, P.O. Box 122181 Arlington, TX. 76012 Email: HopeForHollywood@netscape.net Web site: http://www.HopeForHollywood.com Hope For Hollywood calls for Christians to bless Hollywood Hollywood, CA---July 16, 2003--Many in the Christian community blame Hollywood for much of the social decay in America. They declare boldly that there is a need for change. Dr. Rev. Diane Wigstone believes Hollywood can change, and she believes it is up to the Christian community to stop complaining about it, and do something about it. Wigstone's new book, "Hope For Hollywood: Reclaiming the Soul of Film and TV," released this week, discusses the Christian community's responsibility in our society to impact Hollywood. Wigstone, the former Director of Worship and Creative Arts at the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood, and a licensed Baptist Minister, understands the crisis in Hollywood, "I know the battle between good and evil in Hollywood is fierce. The fight isn't going to be won with the Christians sitting on the sidelines doing nothing. It is up to us to make a difference! But many Christians feel helpless and simply don't know what they can do. This book gives them practical ways they can change the industry that impacts the world." Wigstone has worked not only in the Church in Hollywood, she has also worked in the Entertainment Industry, in many capacities, including as an Actress, Producer and Director. For professional acting training, she attended school at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, considered by many insiders to be the best acting school in the U.S. The Film school she attended was in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she got a better understanding of the issues in Media worldwide. It also broadened her view on how to bring change to a society. "Change in Hollywood is going to happen when Christians begin to bless instead of curse Hollywood," Wigstone states. Her views on the role that Christians have in reclaiming the Film and TV industry, is different than many. "I don't believe we will make a difference through being critical and making things harder for those working in Hollywood. This is a spiritual battle, and the war must be won there. "Hope for Hollywood," is sounding the trumpet, to call the troops to pray for Hollywood and those working in the Entertainment Industry. It is also a call for prayer for the Ministries and Churches ministering in Hollywood and the surrounding area." Kingdom Enterprises International, a Publishing and Multi-media company which started operations in 1995, announced the release of their newest book, "Hope For Hollywood: Reclaiming the Soul of Film and TV," this week. It is currently available at their company website, as well as at www.HopeForHollywood.com. The book will also be available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble Internet services later this year.
